Membership

By joining the PFO, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. You also get great discounts, locally and nationally. When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board— you set a fine example for our students to follow, and greatly encourage our teachers and staff.

 

 

Basic Membership starts at $20.00.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If I join, do I have to?

• Go to meetings?
  No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings though.
  
  
• Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?
  Nope! Joining the PFO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required.

WHAT IS THE PFO

MESA UNION SCHOOL

PARENT-FACULTY ORGANIZATION

The Mesa Union Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. All parents, teachers and staff may be members of the PFO.

 

Four General Meetings are held each year along with Executive Board meetings as needed - see calendar on the homepage.

 

Everyone is encouraged to attend and lend their support to this invaluable organization. Children are welcome to attend!

PURPOSE

To promote the general welfare and education of Mesa Union School students in the home, school and community.

 

To promote a closer relationship between the home and the school, that parents and faculty may work cooperatively in the education of children and youth.

 

To foster communication, cooperation, support, information and education between students, faculty, parents and the community.

 

To provide resources for student educational and recreation needs.
